| Sales increased over the preceding year same period with steady demand from downstream industries of automobile, shipbuilding, machinery and construction while sales of high value items increased in America. Operating income decreased from the preceding year same period as cost increased with rising material prices though sales and admin expenses decreased. Short-term borrowing increased as minus operating cash flow was posted with increased trade receivables and inventory assets. |

Profit will hardly increase as export margin decreased with currency revalued while unit price can hardly be raised because of severe competition.
