| First half sales increased greatly over the preceding year same period with orders for smart cards as banks switch to IC cards while orders for credit cards steadily increased. Operating income was posted with increased orders for high margin combi and hybrid cards while fixed cost burden was reduced by increased sales. Financial stability improved as losses have been replenished by rights issue and capital reserves while solid operating cash flow was posted based on stable business. |
