Corporate social responsibility, often referred to as CSR, is not only important for public good, but also for corporate bottom line. In order for a corporation to grow without interruption, it should be able to protect interests of all the stakeholders, while assuring its shareholders appropriate returns. The definition of CSR, although varied by organization, has one thing in common that corporations should seek sustainable growth of the society to which they belong.
