I. Industry

According to research by the China Center for Information Industry Development, Aigo and Newman were the top two in the Chinese MP3 player market in the first quarter of 2007 with market shares in the mid-teens. Foreign brands trailed far behind, with Samsung leading the group with 5.3% market share. The rise of domestic brands has been achieved through a pricing strategy and competitive advantages through the entire supply chain process.
