The Consumer Sentiment Index (CSI) tumbled 3 points from a month ago to reach 102 in September, said the Bank of Korea (BOK). The drop represents the index's first fall in five months. Previously, the index stayed at its 13-month peak at 105 from June to August after rising from 102 in April to 104 in May. A CSI reading above 100 indicates that consumers who are optimistic about domestic economic conditions outnumber the pessimists.
